Rising Prof Gets Jamaican Love

OK, so the post about how much we loved the trip to Kingston and Mamme Bay are coming....and the details WILL make you drool...but this one is about how Erin made some major news while in Jamaica.

First, her workshop for the local Kingston schools made news in the national paper, The Jamaica Gleaner, on May 12th.

Hillel Academy Drives Teacher Workshops.

Then, she was featured in the Jamaica Observer, based out of Montego Bay (Mo-Bay to the locals), on May 13th.

Hillel Attacks Weaknesses in Maths, Science: Teachers from top schools invited to workshop on student assessment.

At the actual workshop (one of her best presentations, by the way) the papers sent new reporters and photographers to catch the action.

Ya, ya, ya and as if this wasn't enough (oh, and that her book is due to come out soon), she was then interviewed by former Jamaican First Lady, Beverley Anderson Manley, on May 21st. (Download the podcast of her interview.) Girl truly represents!!
